Our client specialises in small group personal training. They now provide over 55 classes a week at their studio which they built by successfully crowdfunding £75K within 21 days in August 2015.

As a studio manager for a start up with a bold vision, you will be required to exceed expectations as your voice is important to the growth of the company. A keen eye for detail and a mindset to exceed all expectations set is a must.
As a one liner -
Your job role will be customer focus led with team management and creativity to grow the brand into its vision.
Below are a few of the daily duties -
- Managing the front of house team
- Driving brand standards, customer service
- Building a rapport with their members
- Working together with founder, heads and other managers to ensure studio is running smoothly
- Ensuring trainers are happy within their environment (inhouse HR role)
- Ensuring Studio is well kept and everything is in order from stock to class bookings
- Organise company diary
- Create strategies to improve the work environment including sales and ensure KPI’s are met
·Responsible for ensuring that all relevant policies written in the Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Handbook are adhered to by yourself and your staff.
·Responsible for staff rotas.
·Responsible for the management and allocation of consultation slots and classes and any other specific information required on the Studio.
·Responsible for ensuring that there is an adequate amount of trainers conducting consultations and providing outstanding service to the members.
·Personally conduct member consultations, to ensure that members are able to talk to someone regarding their goals
·Clean and maintain all gym equipment recording all defects in the maintenance file and calling out the relevant engineers when required.
·Assist with dealing with any necessary administration and member issues with customer care manager, which includes, but is not limited to, answering the telephone, returning messages left on the answering machine, report submission and responding to relevant e-mails.
·Ensure all stock levels are kept at a good level at all times.
·Hold regular staff and personal trainer meetings
·Manage the club within budgetary constraints.
·Be fully involved in the creation of a fun, lively and creative atmosphere for all members.
·Submit any original ideas you may have no matter how bizarre to promote fun and aid retention at the Gym
