    Job Description

    We’re BrighterBox. A recruitment business that’s been going 10 years and works with some of the UK’s most exciting start-ups, scale-ups & agencies. We don’t just fill jobs. We help founders build early teams properly.
     
    We’re currently fully remote. This year, we’re opening a Manchester office. And this hire will be part of that first wave.
     
    Not just another team member. A foundation hire.
     
    Role overview
     
    This is a sourcing-first role with serious growth potential.
     
    Your main initial focus will be candidate sourcing. Identifying, engaging and qualifying brilliant graduate and junior talent for our live roles. You’ll build pipelines from scratch. You’ll write outbound messages that get replies. You’ll get very good at spotting potential early.
     
    Alongside that, you’ll support business development by doing targeted outreach to founders and hiring managers. Starting conversations. Opening doors. Helping build the Manchester presence.
     
    Over time, for the right person, this could evolve into managing your own desk or helping build the Manchester team.

    • Self-motivated; you don’t need someone checking in constantly
    • Comfortable sending cold outreach and following up properly
    • Confident on the phone; you can build rapport quickly
    • Resilient; you don’t crumble after a few ignored messages
    • Organised; you can manage multiple roles at once
    • Commercially switched on; you understand this is performance-driven
     
    Bonus points for
     
    • Recruitment, sales or high-volume outreach experience
    • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Strong writing skills; you can craft messages that stand out
    • Based in or near Manchester and excited to help build something
