Job Description
This award-winning scale-up, based in Farringdon, is the UK market leader when it comes to connecting households and cleaners (kind of like Deliveroo, but for home services). They make it easy for customers to book, manage and pay their cleaner online and have created the best place for cleaners to find work. They're now 10 years old with over 10,000 customers, 1,500 cleaners and a consistent track record of rapid growth.
They have big plans to replicate this success outside London and in whole new verticals such as gardening and end-of-tenancy cleaning, so they're looking for bright and ambitious people to help make this happen.
We're looking for smart, ambitious and curious people who want to build a career in operations.
This isn't a traditional customer service role. You'll be at the heart of a fast-growing technology marketplace, helping thousands of jobs run smoothly every week while solving complex operational challenges.
You'll work across their cleaning, specialist cleaning, tradespeople and gardening services. One moment you might be helping recover a service that has gone wrong. The next you could be analysing performance data, improving a process, testing a new AI tool or helping launch a new service.
They believe great operators combine strong judgement, commercial thinking, attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in.
You'll:
- Work in day-to-day operations across our marketplace, ensuring customers and service providers have a great experience
- Solve operational problems quickly and take ownership until they are resolved
- Communicate with customers and service providers through email, phone, chat and video calls
- Make decisions that balance customer experience, fulfilment and commercial outcomes
- Use AI tools and automation to work more effectively and improve processes
- Work on projects that improve our operations and product
- Help test and implement new operational processes, systems and services
- Learn how a high-growth technology business operates and scales
- You'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one and given the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business.
They're less interested in what you've done before and more interested in how you think.
About you
- Bright, ambitious and eager to learn
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and figuring things out
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Curious about technology, AI and how businesses operate
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Resilient and able to stay calm when priorities change
- Excited by the idea of helping build a fast-growing business
- You may be a recent graduate or early in your career. Previous operations or customer service experience is helpful but not essential.
Perks
- Starting salary of £28,000 per year, with plenty of opportunities to develop your career
- 25 days' holiday allowance
- Sponsored social events, including excellent Christmas and summer parties
- Free cleans
- Cycle to Work scheme
- The opportunity to build your career at an award-winning, fast-growing technology company
