Customer Experience generalists
Announced as the Startups100 Top Startup of the Year 2020, Trouva is an online marketplace for brick-and-mortar independent boutique shops who sell unique and hard-to-find pieces. They offer established, new and emerging brands across homewares, fashion and lifestyle that you won’t see anywhere else. In May 2022, Trouva was acquired by UK online furniture retailer Made.com. Whilst Trouva will continue to operate as a standalone brand, the combination of the two businesses will allow them to grow their marketplace offering whilst continuing to support independent boutiques and brands.

During the early stages of the business, the retail market’s seasonality meant that Trouva saw a huge increase in demand around the holiday period and needed to expand the Customer Experience team quickly – this is when BrighterBox stepped in.
Given the immediacy of the hire, and without a recognised brand at this stage, Trouva needed to attract bright grads with exceptional EQ, problem-solving skills and experience with dealing customers.
After successfully supporting this recruitment drive, BrighterBox partnered with Trouva’s internal talent team on additional briefs ranging from Brand to Business Development, including multi-lingual hires in German, Spanish, French and Italian.
