    Company Description

This immersive gaming startup creates real-world adventure games for adults. Players solve clues sent to their phone on a journey through the city. They unlock secret locations, interact with people they meet, and solve challenges.

    Job Description

They are looking for a bright, keen, adventurous individual to join the team at an exciting stage of the company’s growth. Candidates should be willing to work on their high quality-delivering customer support, whilst also having time dedicated to learning the skills required to be part of the Games team, who support, update and create new games.

    You could help us:

Provide customer support - be the first point of contact for customers and players, raising issues with the games to be fixed by the game support team and helping maintain our high level of customer satisfaction. Expect this to be roughly four of your five days.

Support the games - the real world changes on a weekly basis. You’ll update clues following any issues reported by players, refresh props, and sometimes scout for new venues. Initially expect about a day a week on this activity.

Support the creation of new experiences - step into the shoes of a player and construct their experience in every step of their journey. As you learn and grow, you will be able to support the creative team with concept and story design, clue-writing and puzzle creation, identifying venues, and testing the experience.

Grow the company - as a startup in a dynamic industry, there is always room for the business to grow and adapt, and for you to be part of delivering that.

    You have:

    • Demonstrable customer support skills
    • A passion for game-playing and a desire to gain skills in game design
    • A good head for problem-solving

    You are:

    • A confident and tactful communicator
    • Creative and adaptable
    • Curious, willing to learn and able to pick up new skills quickly

Your work will be about identifying problems and delivering solutions, so expect an application process that will enable you to test your problem-solving skills and demonstrate your creativity. Have fun with it.
